Comparison

Best AI logo makers in 2026.

We make one of these tools, so read this with that in mind. What follows is what each is genuinely good at, including the places where the others beat us. A comparison that concludes we win every category would not be worth your time.

Prices were read off each vendor’s own pricing page in September 2026. Where a figure could not be verified in US dollars, the table says so rather than guessing.

The main AI logo makers in 2026 are Looka, Brandmark, Canva, Tailor Brands and Logofai, and they solve different problems. Brandmark sells outright from $35 one-time with no subscription. Looka starts at $20 one-time for a single PNG, $65 for the vector package, or $96 a year for a Brand Kit of over 300 assets. Canva is not really a logo maker but a design editor with a genuinely usable free tier, priced per region. Tailor Brands bundles logos into US LLC formation rather than selling them alone. Logofai runs on credits from $9.99 a month and treats the logo as the start of a system: brand kit, 129 photoreal mockups, lifestyle photography, a scored logo review and a design.md file that AI coding tools build from. Judge them on four things: whether marks are generated or assembled from a shared library, whether vector export is included or costs extra, what exists beyond the logo itself, and the price per result you can actually use.

01

How to judge them. Four questions.

Is the mark generated or assembled? Some tools compose a logo from a shared library of icons and fonts. That is fast and cheap, and it means another business in your category can end up with a near-identical mark. Others generate original artwork each time. Neither is automatically better, but you should know which you are buying.

What files do you actually get, and when? Vector is the line that matters. A PNG cannot be scaled to a vehicle wrap or handed to a printer. Several tools show you a logo for free and charge for the vector, which is fair, but it means the advertised price is rarely the price of a usable result. Our guide to logo file formats covers which file goes where.

What exists beyond the logo? A mark on its own is not a brand. Somebody still has to produce the favicon, the social sizes, the one-colour version, the guidelines and the tokens the website is built from. Whether the tool does that, or hands you a PNG and wishes you luck, is the biggest practical difference between these products.

What is the price per usable result? Compare the cost of the thing you can actually ship, not the headline. A $20 low-resolution PNG and a $65 vector package are not the same purchase.

Last checked: September 2026. Pricing changes often, so verify on the vendor’s own page before you buy. Two cells deliberately carry no figure: Canva prices by region, and Tailor Brands does not publish a logo-only price.

03

Where each one wins. Including against us.

Looka

What it does better than us. Volume of ready-made assets. The Brand Kit ships over 300 branded pieces, and $20 for a usable PNG is a lower entry point than any subscription. If you want a lot of collateral quickly and cheaply, Looka gives you more of it than we do.

The trade-off. Marks are assembled from a shared icon library, so two businesses in the same category can end up with recognisably similar logos. The cheapest package is one low-resolution PNG, and vector costs more.

Brandmark

What it does better than us. The pricing model, if you hate subscriptions. Pay once, own it, never think about it again. Its typography pairing is also genuinely good, better than most tools in this list at picking fonts that belong together.

The trade-off. What you get is a logo and a small set of extras. There is no ongoing generation, no mockup pipeline, and nothing aimed at developers.

Canva

What it does better than us. Almost everything about editing. The editor is the best in this comparison by a wide margin, the free tier is genuinely usable rather than a teaser, and the template library is enormous. If you want to move a shape three pixels left, Canva is the answer and we are not.

The trade-off. You are designing, not being designed for. Templates are shared with millions of users, so distinctiveness is on you, and nothing keeps your brand consistent across assets automatically.

Tailor Brands

What it does better than us. Scope beyond design. If you are a US founder who has not formed the company yet, getting the LLC, the domain, the website and a logo from one place is a real convenience nobody else here offers.

The trade-off. The logo is the smallest part of the product, and pricing is built around business formation rather than brand quality.

04

Where Logofai fits. And where it does not.

Logofai is built on one assumption: the logo is the beginning of the work, not the end. One sentence produces a mark, and from there one click each produces a brand kit, 129 photoreal product mockups, editorial lifestyle photography, a logo system of every arrangement, a brand pack as a single download, and a design.md that Cursor, v0 and Lovable build from directly. Nothing else in this comparison produces that last file, and for anyone shipping software it is the part that saves the most time.

The second thing that is genuinely ours is Logo Review. Upload any logo, including one made somewhere else, and five of seven dimensions are measured directly on the artwork rather than guessed: stroke weight at 32 pixels, contrast, how much survives at favicon size, where the visual centre sits, and how it behaves in one colour.

Where we are not the answer: if you want to drag shapes around by hand, use Canva. If subscriptions are a dealbreaker, Brandmark sells outright and we do not. If you want the largest possible pile of ready-made collateral for the least money, Looka gives you more of it. And if you have not formed your company yet, Tailor Brands does something we do not touch.

If you are still narrowing the field rather than picking, what to look for in a logo maker walks through the features that matter, and there are longer head-to-heads on Logofai versus Looka and Logofai versus Canva.

05

Questions. Answered.

Which AI logo maker is actually best?

It depends on what you need after the logo. Brandmark is best if you want to pay once and be done. Looka is best for a large pack of ready-made assets at a low entry price. Canva is best if you want to design it yourself. Tailor Brands is best if you are forming a US company at the same time. Logofai is best if the logo is the start of a system: mockups, brand kit, guidelines and a design.md your developers can build from.

Do I own a logo made with an AI logo maker?

Usually yes on a paid tier, but the detail differs and it is worth reading. Looka grants full ownership on its paid packages and keeps it even after a subscription ends. Brandmark sells outright. Canva has specific rules about trademarking designs that use its stock elements. Logofai gives you commercial ownership of everything you generate. In every case, trademark clearance of your brand name remains your job, not the tool’s.

Is a free AI logo maker good enough?

For testing an idea, yes. For launching, the limits usually bite in the same two places: you get a raster file rather than vector, so it breaks when printed or scaled, and you get one image rather than the variations real use demands. Free is a good way to find a direction, then pay for the files that direction needs.
